Chimney Liners Are the Interior Part of Chimneys

Chimney liners are an essential part of a fireplace or stove chimney construction. The liners can be made out of clay, but over time the clay wears out and needs to be replaced. You can replace broken clay liners with stainless steel liners or even use stainless steel chimney when installing a new chimney. The liner is designed to improve the chimney's draft which is important for the proper burning of different fuels types while removing fumes and gases from the home and retaining heat.

Rigid and Flexible Chimney Liners for Relining Your Chimney

If you have an existing chimney and want to improve the draft, or find it was never installed correctly, you can use new chimney liners to correct these problems. When installing a new liner you will want to obtain the correct size by measuring the inside diameter of your existing flue opening. You can select from rigid liners as well as flexible liners and will need to decide which type will work best for your chimney relining project.
