Duravent Accessories Provide Ventilation for Your Gas Appliances

Venting a gas fireplace and other types of gas appliances requires different types of Duravent accessories in order to provide sufficient ventilation. You will need a vent for each gas appliance in operation in your home. You will need one vent for a gas water heater, another for a gas furnace, and still another for a gas fireplace. While combining ventilation, like for your hot water heater and furnace may be possible, you should check with the manufacturers before installing a shared ventilation system.

Both Rigid and Flexible Duravent Pipe Is Available

You will find both rigid and flexible Duravent pipe available for venting your gas appliances. Flexible pipe works better when you have corners and angles you need to work around, or need to cover a long distance. Rigid pipe is better suited when you have straight venting requirements or do not need to cover a long distance. You can find both types of pipes as well as other accessories available on our website, here at Copperfield Chimney Supply.
