This appliance operates as an unvented room heater certified under ANSI Z21.11.2a when fitted into a masonry or factory built fireplace with the flue damper open or closed. It may also be installed in approved vent free fireplace. This appliance is designed to supplement a current heating system. It is not designed to be used as a primary heat source. This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by state or local codes.

Hargrove's Ember Glow series vent-free log sets allow you to heat your home with beauty and realism in Vented or Vent-Free applications. Ember Glow Series is dual certified for Vent-Free or Vented operation. Hargrove's Ember Glow series Millivolt Valve Burner Assembly comes with Bark Chip and On / Off Switch . Optional On / Off remote can be added.

The Heritage Char features beautifully textured massive logs that are sure to fill any fireplace with natural flame patterns, warm radiant heat and glowing embers. Heritage Char utilizes intricately detailed bark textured logs and a large T-shaped glowing ember bed to craft an attractive log set.
